Visit your cardiologist on a regular basis! It is important that you have routine check-ups. Our health does not remain static – it is continually changing. Because of this, checking in with your cardiologist (or any physician for that matter) helps you keep ahead of the curve on possible health issues and helps to identify health issues and initiate treatment/management strategies. Either way, regular visits to the doctor are an important part of being a healthy diabetic!
